
The Sheehys World of Music
Meg Sheehy: A graduate of the music program at San Francisco State, Meg's emotional vocals have hypnotized audiences throughout the Northstate. She also adds guitar, mandolin, banjo, and percussion to The Sheehy's sound. Meg's original songs include: Take Me Home, Cold Shower, Saving Mine, The Wild, Song 47, and Long Way Down. She and her dad arrange vocal parts and arrangements of the songs. Meg says, "I love playing music with my Dad!" Meg has hiked a 750 mile stretch of the Pacific Coast Trail from Yosemite to Ashland, Oregon, with her fiance', Dylan.
John Tew: A native of Detroit, Michigan, John was raised on the sounds of Motown. He moved to California when he was 18 and learned to play guitar. He enrolled at California State University, Hayward, and earned a BA in Music while he performed in several well known Bay Area rock bands. John has performed with Eddie Money, Bill "Electric" Church (Sammy Hager, Van Morrison), and Vail Johnson (Kenny G). He has played guitar, keyboards, and bass in many hard working club bands in the Bay Area and in the Northstate. In addition to performing, John has recorded, arranged, produced, and co-written music from his home studio. John and Doug have performed together for over 20 years.
